Walnut shell application

1. Filter material

Due to walnut shell instinct hardness, ideal density, porosity and polyhedral character, after special Physical-chemical treatment (remove the pigment, fat, oil and electronegative ion), it has good absorption character on oil and solid particle and can be cleaned easily. Walnut shell filter can be widely used on oil drilling waste water and industrial waste water and residential filtration, so it will be a perfect new filter to replace quarz sand filtration which could greatly decrease water treatment cost and improve water quality.

2. Walnut plugging agent

Some chemically inert materials are added into mud which will flow into the hole wall crack under liquid column pressure difference during mud circulation process. The inert plugging agent are usually different particle size plugging material with different shape such as granule, nemaline, flake and so on. Granule agent could be sawdust, broken walnut shell, cotton seed shell, vermiculite, diatomite, small plastic particle and so on.

3. Walnut shell abrasive

It could be used as polishing material on glassware, metal, leather, semiconductor, plastics, gemstone, jade artifact, stainless steel and so on.

Abrasive mesh size: 2.36—3.35MM，2—2.36MM，1.6—2MM，1.2—1.6MM，1—1.4MM，0.8—1.2MM，0.6—0.8MM，0.425—0.6MM，0.25—0.425MM，0.18—0.25MM，0.12—0.18MM, 0.12MM all pass through

4. walnut shell clean agent  

 It is widely used on carbon deposition cleaning of automobile, turbine cleaning of boat and aircraft, exterior paint cleaning of tank and surface cleaning of all kinds of large building.

5. Walnut shell scrub

It is widely used on facial scrub, body lotion, soap and so on to exfoliate cuticle.

6. Walnut Shell hole-forming agent

Ceramic binding agent hole and grinding wheel hole forming material. Compared with refined naphthalene, walnut shell has many advantages such as uniform pore, no smell, no polution, easy to use, low price, and no harm to people. What’s more, walnut shell hole size on grinding wheel could be adjusted as requirement. Therefore, walnut shell is widely used on abrasive tool industry abroad since 1960.
